Overall, the site is designed using Internet Explorer.

Valving Logic
  1. Valving Logic is committed to taking the guess work out of motorcycle suspension tuning.
  2. Modeled around dirt bike suspensions, but applicable to other designs.
The concept behind Valving Logic is as simple as abc:
a. Use the latest technologies to evaluate suspension performance and catalogue this information on the website.
b. Eliminate as much guesswork as possible and replace it with reliable fact based suspension information.
c. Offer our extensive dyno testing experience and technical analysis of suspensions to riders and tuners.

What Valving Logic is about

The suspension tuning field is full of myths, misconceptions and guess work.  Valve stacks are twisted and tweaked, but no one ever shares what they have done or why.  The tuner makes internal valving changes based on his previous experience, and the rider tests the bike and provides feedback on its performance.  Experienced tuners have spent hundreds of hours repeating this scenario to become proficient at their job.  But difficulties can arise even for an experienced tuner when valving changes don't behave as predicted.  The tuner has to decide if the valving change didn't target the expected area or if the rider feedback is inconsistent.  New tuners can look forward to the countless hours they will spend learning this process.  There's no short cut to experience, or any easy way to work around it.
  - - That is, until now! - -

Valving Logic is working to change that.  We use the latest technologies to compare and analyze different valving configurations to give us a better understanding of the inner working of a damper.  In-depth analysis allows us to determine what each individual component in the fork or shock is contributing to the damping curve.  After comparing hundreds of shim stack configurations from all the different bikes, new patterns begin to develop.  You'll see exactly what shim changes are needed to target specific areas of the damping curve.  It would be next to impossible to achieve this depth of analysis by shim swapping and seat-of-the-pants testing.
